For a great deal of his career, Rob Newman has worked in an accounting capacity for large companies such as Hawker Siddeley Canada, Marathon Realty, the Bank of Montreal, and Johnson & Johnson. After spending many years in the large corporate environment, he shifted his focus to smaller companies in the private sector, first in Peterborough, then the GTA and finally in Barrie. Founded in 2006, Newman Accounting is a CPA firm, providing personal and business taxation, estate taxation, accounting and business advisory services for a client base in the greater Barrie area. Yes, we are a one stop shop when it comes to your accounting needs.

Newman Accounting has a diversified client base of closely held businesses in a variety of sectors, high net worth individuals, sole proprietors, trusts, not-for-profits and charities.

Rob Newman is an active member of the Rotary Club of Barrie-Huronia, served on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Simcoe County, the Barrie Chamber of Commerce and the Business Enterprise Resource Network.
